if I had the opportunity to do prom all over again… man oh man… I would’ve made completely different choices.. of my dress and hair… and shoes. I would pretty much change everything (I only bring this up, because it is prom season. boo.)

Alexander the Great

fun facts: born in May 17 1984, lived in San Francisco, his parents are immigrants from Taiwan, attended Parsons the new school for design, won the CFDA women’s wear fund in 2008 and now lives in New York City.

My all time favourite (contemporary) fashion designer is, none other than the great Alexander Wang. He “wowed” the fashion industry with just one garment, a hoodie. But it was said, over and over again that it was “one heck of a hoodie”. Known for his great tailoring skills, Mr. Wang often uses black. He is known for his grungy masculine designs. He makes girls feel like the “ultimate cool girl” which is more or less like a rock star.

He has designed a bunch of “IT” bags. Sported by Mary-Kate Olsen, Kate Bosworth, Reese Witherspoon and a whole lot more. In the Fall 2009, he created this bag called “the coco mini duffel” it was a lamb skin bag with study all over the bottom of the bag. It was, or IS the most incredible bag I have seen. It’s practical but edgy. That was the, in my opinion, when I loved Mr. Wangs brand even more.

Here is the bag in question:

I will now leave you with A. Wang dancing out after one of his fashion shows. Such a fun character, he is.
